The townships of Noida and Greater Noida will get the first tram connectivity if work goes as per proposed plan of the Noida authority. The tram service will benefit both residents and professionals working in the twin cities. The developments with regard to creation of tram services will certainly cement its position in the realty map of Delhi NCR.
The first phase of tram route, running parallel to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is likely to be built from Mahamaya flyover to Sector 132. The sectors 94, 125, 128 and 132 have already witnessed a change and it will gear up the construction activities. A route connecting Botanic Garden Metro station through Golf Course to City Centre Metro station is also being considered.
The first tram service will not only reduce travelling concerns of Noida inhabitants but also attract more people to invest in sector sectors adjoining to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The proposed route through all residential colonies is likely to cover an area of 10.5 km.
